My studio is built around a digital audio workstation capable of about as many tracks and effects as you like. Plenty of inputs means we can record the whole band at once or go track by track.
Workstation: Mac snow leopard workstation running logic 9 and cubase 4. 48 track 24bit 96 khz capable. full complement of mixing and mastering plugins.
Mackie hr824 monitors.
Digital to analog conversion is handled by an RME Fireface 800.

As with the mics, a selection of modern and vintage preamps and outboard gear helps vary the tones we can get. Vintage gear can be used during mixdown to give a more analog sound to the record.
